Mary LaSang launched her music career in New Orleans, LA. She was a member of many bands in the area, including playing keyboards for Jet Screamer (with Caleb Guillotte of Deadeye Dick), and bass for Dingo 8, Isaac's Guns and Cowboy Mouth. Mary has co-written songs with Paul Sanchez, Ruby Rendrag, Ron Hotstream, Lauren Hamlin, as well as Cowboy Mouth. Her songs have been recorded and sung by Susan Cowsill, Theresa Andersen, and Sister Hazel frontman Kenny Block. Currently, she performs as a singer/songwriter, and plays bass in different groups such as Paul Sanchez and the Rolling Road Show, The Susan Cowsill Band, The Cowsills, and The Kinky Tuscaderos. She has played bass and organ at many Jazz Fests, and shared billing with various national acts including Hootie and the Blowfish, Blue October, Brian Vander Ark (The Verve Pipe), Pat McGee, Ingram Hill, Velvet Revolver, The Fray etc. Watch for Mary's debut album coming out soon, in 2010!
